All mattress warranties are provided by the specific manufacturer and not upheld by The Bed Store. However, The Bed Store will be glad to help you with any warranty claim to make the process as easy as possible.

All warranties cover defects in workmanship but do not cover abuse, normal wear and tear, or comfort. Every manufacturer defines the parameters of their specific warranty differently and The Bed Store only abides by and upholds their policies. No manufacturer covers delivery or inspection costs. That is the customer's responsibility.

Each manufacturer has different criteria concerning what constitutes a warranty issue and how they will respond. It is our desire to assist you in expediting your claim if it qualifies under the terms and conditions of your particular manufacturer.

If after reading the warranty you believe that your problem qualifies for warranty service, simply fill out the warranty service form. Upon submission we will assist you with the proper handling of the warranty procedures.

"Sagging" VS. Body Impressions

Various components utilized for the comfort layers will settle and could compress due to the weight and shape of the user. This "settling" or compression is not a structural or design defect, but a normal expected result. Compression of upholstery materials of 1 1/2 inches or less should not be considered as "sagging" of the mattress.  Compression of upholstery layers is not covered under this limited warranty.  "Sagging" occurs when the mattress has a depression greater than 1 1/2 inches.  Two people sleeping on a queen or king mattress may notice that the upholstery layers in the sleeping areas are conforming to each sleeper's body.  All Queen, King or California King size mattress sets require an appropriate frame with a rigid center support. Warranty coverage is also void if the sleep set exhibits stains or soiling.

How To Measure A Body Impression

Based on the industry standard and applicable for all mattress warranties.

Things you will need:

  • A measuring tape or ruler

  • A piece of string that is at least 7 ft. long.

  1. Strip the sheets, blankets and mattress pad off the mattress.

  2. Pull the string horizontally across the mattress. (from side to side)

  3. Take the measuring tape and measure down to the deepest part of the depression without pushing down on the mattress in any way. Make sure the string is pulled taught, but not pressing into the mattress.

  4. Record the measurement where the string crosses the ruler.

Please bear in mind that body impressions are a normal occurrence.  They are simply proof that your mattress is conforming to your body.
